Last week a group of students, teachers, community members and farmers gathered together at Butterworks Farm in Westfield, VT to discuss the ‘future of farming.’ Fred Kirschenmann, Distinguished Fellow at the Leopold Center and President of the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, had been visiting Sterling College and came along for the ride.
