A Yogurt Smoothie to call your own
Of course you can make many delicious substitutions here! We’re fond of both lemon and vanilla yogurt in our smoothies, but whole, whole maple, and nonfat will work beautifully, too. For a thinner consistency, try one of our delicious kefirs in place of the yogurt.
Kale and young nettles are both great stand-ins for the spinach, and raspberries, mango, and peaches are all tasty fruits to try. You really can’t go wrong, but fresh-picked, local, and organic are always good guidelines for selecting ingredients that will maximize the healthfulness of your snacks.
Berry Green Yogurt Smoothie
Ingredients
2 cups Butterworks yogurt
2 cups spinach or other greens
2 cups blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1 banana
Instructions
Place all in a blender and blend until smooth, or purée using a handheld mixer.
